Depop will be opening a Night Market in London on 25th May, offering its community the chance to engage with upcoming festival trends in a more sustainable way and enjoy performances from homegrown talent Headie One and girl group FLO.
Located at 26 Leake Street, within renovated railway arches underneath Waterloo station, the immersive pop-up shopping experience will be open on the 25th May from 7pm – midnight.
Visitors will be able to browse trend-led market zones, shop vintage and handmade pieces, as well as snap festival-worthy ‘fit checks’ with interactive photo moments. The event will feature a line-up of some of the UK’s favourite Depop sellers, including byeanna’s handmade crochet designs, bensbits’ streetwear selects, and PascaleEliza’s vintage designer pieces, who will be selling clothing in line with Depop’s key festival fashion themes for this summer - Alien Waters, Romantic Grunge, Exaggerated Minimalism and Sports Remix.
Leading voice of UK drill Headie One and BRIT-winning R&B girl group Flo will be headlining the event, while female led community radio station and record label Foundation FM has curated a stellar line-up of DJs providing festival-worthy tunes, including Eliza Rose, P-rallel, Saint Ludo and Vanessa Maria. All this, and with Havana Club onboard as official drinks partner bringing an authentic Cuban taste to Central London. Shoppers will also be able to enjoy a range of activations on offer - from Suki Nailz + Sukiiice’s nail art and tooth gems to screen printing with 3rd Rail and get to make their own ultimate Y2K accessory - phone beads with Sante.
